OTC Anti-Dandruff Shampoo

I had struggled with scalp psoriasis for years and could not find a good solution. The Kamedis Scalp Control Shampoo has been my answer. This shampoo coupled with the scalp lotion has the psoriasis is under control. The bonus is that it smells great and is gentle on your hair. I completely recommend it.

The combo of New England air & town hard water high chemical content, created issues with my hair and scalp I had never experienced before. And I also have sensitive skin, so I needed to find a shampoo that would help with this without causing more or additional issues for me. This shampoo is amazing. I started seeing a difference within a week, and it is so nourishing. Highly recommend!

This product has been better for me than the prescription product prescribed for me.

I ordered and paid for shampoo and conditioner, which I never received. I asked for a refund but Kamedis refuses to refund my money and is nonresponsive.

This shampoo works great to get rid of flakes on the scalp. I’m removing one star due to the synthetic fragrance. I have chemical sensitivity, and the synthetic fragrance makes me nauseous. I hope the company will consider making an unscented version of this shampoo, or use essential oils instead.

We have been using prescription shampoo that DID NOT work 1/2 as good as this one!!! Itchy scalp (mainly) and Dandruff CLEARED in 2 washes...I kid you NOT! Been looking for this product for OVER A YEAR, buy a bottle, you will LOVE IT

My daughter has had severe dandruff for years. Since using this shampoo we have noticed an extreme difference in flakes and itchiness. Works better than any OTC brand we have tried.

It is a very good product for itchy scalp. Leaves my hair nice. I only wish you made it easier to open because I have arthritis in my hands. You need to take a knife to open the bottle to get the rest of the shampoo out. Painful to squeeze it all out.

It held up to the great review I read. Even my husband likes it! I have seborrheic dermatitis and this scalp treatment shampoo definitely calmed the sporadic crazy itching. More so than the prescription shampoo I was using. Fingers crossed it will rid my scalp of the crusty flesh.

I absolutely love this shampoo. It's slowly but surely helping my scalp and hair I really believe that after another week, I'll be able to give a more complete review.

I have seborrheic dermatitis and this worked as well as the prescription shampoo and isn’t as hard on my hair. Will definitely be ordering again!

I bought this shampoo to help with my seborrheic dermatitis as it flares up in the winter. I get it mainly along my hairline, eyelids and nose. This shampoo has really helped with the itching and redness, but not so much with the flaking (as you can see in the photo). As I don’t apply it to my nose and eyelids they are still occasionally itchy, but I think the runoff from the shampoo has helped since it’s not nearly as bad as it can get in the winter. Overdo it is good. I might repurchase in the future because it works and it’s cheaper then a derm visit, but not the cure all I ward hoping for.

It is very nice. Helps with the itching on and around my cheeks , but I have psoriasis on my scalp. It didn’t help that.

I don’t have dandruff, but this is the best shampoo I’ve ever found for calming an itchy scalp. I use it every day! Another plus for me is that it’s not strongly fragranced.

It cleans the scalp really well with consistent use but I will say that when experiencing occasional flare ups of more dandruff and itching, the consistency is in my experience is really important in helping to relieve some of those symptoms. Overall I would say it’s a good product

I have scalp psoriasis. While the shampoo does help the flaking, the companion lotion did nothing to stop the itching. I went to a dermatologist & received injections that cleared up the plaques within a week. Took the shampoo with me & she checked the ingredients & said it would be good to continue to use it.

I normally use a different national brand of dandruff/anti-itch shampoo but wanted to try something new. My scalp is less itchy but has started forming "scabs" or something, which I have never had before. My eyebrows have started doing the same thing and the skin above them is inflamed and flaky. I've been using Kamedis as directed for about three weeks and will have to stop using it.

This shampoo is great. I have searched all over looking for a shampoo that would take care of my scalp folliculitis and I finally did. It cleans my scalp and leaves my hair really soft. I'm glad I found this product.

I love this shampoo. Together with the scalp cream, it's the only product that helps the spots on my head, and I have tried EVERYTHING. Very soothing.

Since using Kamedis, my scalp has been over all less itchy, scaly, and bumpy. I also like how it lathers up, and my hair feels fresh and clean.

I have experienced an undiagnosed itch problem since 2002! Numerous testing has been done by Dermatologists and Medical docs. I have tried MANY products for itch relief, however, Kamadis products seem to be the ONLY relief so far. I use the shampoo, Body wash, and the Calming Lotion regularly!

I am using this as a face wash for my fungal acne, and I am thankful that it is not too harsh for my skin. It is also nice that I can use this as a shampoo that will not irritate my condition.

Thank to Kamedis my head it healthy, hair is shiny, and I am finally rid of the flakes and itchy scalp I’ve dealt with since my teens, I’m 44 now so it’s been a long time coming, Kamedis where have you been all my life!! I found out about Kamedis by researching online and one article swore by it so I had to give it try since I was trying everything and nothing was working. I can finally skip 2-3 days without washing my hair and my head still doesn’t itch or flake. I used to have to wash it everyday and my hair was dry and falling out. If nothing else has worked for you before, this is something you must try, I’m so glad I did!!

This nearly 63-year-old was born with cradle cap and it’s been with me ever since, continually worsening as I’ve gotten older. Can You Say I'm Cured? Suffered for 40 Years with Seborrheic Dermatitis until now avoiding shampoo that had sodium laureth sulfate along with not wearing a Black shirt As of today it's no longer snowing when I wear Black along with the fact of not having a resistance to the shampoo that my scalp usually forces to change shampoos once again Thank You Kamedis!

I actually love this product, it WORKS. Unfortunately it is formulated with sodium chloride and therefore not safe for keratin treated hair, so I can no longer use it. If you don't have keratin treated hair, I would highly recommend this product. If they make it safe for keratin treated hair in the future, I will purchase again.

Have tried everything for my sons scalp this shampoo plus scalp lotion actually works when absolutely nothing else has!!! Hoping it is available by prescription for him!

This shampoo is the only thing that worked for my preteen daughter. We have struggled with her oily, scaly hair for years. I can't recommend it highly enough!!

I have not found a better dandruff shampoo. I have used it for years. I did like the previous formulation before which I think was more concentrated, but this is still better than any other product I’ve used.

Would love to try it, but it should be noted you can’t use it while pregnant It contains salicylic acid, which you should not use when pregnant. Also lauryl sulfate, which isn’t good for your hair!

It works I suffered years with dry, flaky, itchy scalp. Many trips to the dermatologist, expensive prescriptions to control the itch. Spent hundreds of dollars trying to new products that claimed to work. I tried coconut oil, tea tree oil, peppermint oil, all claiming to help. Needless to say, I had about given up. My scalp was so bad, it was like I dumped a salt shaker on my head. Finally after another google search, I saw Kamedis with reviews and claims that it worked. What did I have to loose. I found it on Amazon, and placed my order. This was 4 months ago. Within 3 weeks I had a noticeable difference, and after a month, my scalp was clear. I use this 4 times a week, as I live in a warm climate and exercise daily, so I sweat. Thank you for this product. It is the only thing that worked! And no, I have NOT received free product to write this review.

Scalp saving product So I have been using this hair wash for a good month and let me tell you it has done wonders for me. I have an extremely dry irritated scalp and instantly after using this soothing wash my scalp felt nourishment and comfort. Now a month after continued use my scalp is free of flakes and itchy esa. Pleasantly Surprised So I have terrible dandruff and have struggled with it since I was a child (in my late 20s now). And have tried everything under the sun when it comes to dandruff shampoos and treatments, even going to the dermatologist. Nothing worked. Since then I have gone natural (4C hair), and thought that the removal of chemicals would help. It didn't. So I was excited, but a little skeptical to try this out. It didn't have the usual minty feel as most dandruff shampoos do, but it lathered well and got my scalp clean without residue. It did leave my hair a bit dry. But it was nothing that some conditioner couldn't handle. A week later and my scalp was still fairly clear. I only took away a star because of how dry it made my hair. Worked Okay I think that this was an okay dandruff shampoo. Since I don't have much dandruff, it was hard for me to see a big difference. However, one thing that I did like was that it didn't make my hair oily. Dandruff shampoos, in an attempt to bring more moisture, end up making my hair very greasy. Thankfully, this wasn't the case with the Kamedis shampoo. I received this product complimentary from Influenster, all opinions are my own.

Smells good and worked ok. I received this from Influenster to review for free. I was using head and shoulders products previously. This worked fine for my dry scalp and I didn’t experience any dandruff while using it, but it did make my hair feel slightly heavy. Overall it was nothing special that head and shoulders can’t do. But it did smell nice so if that’s improtant to you it may be a better option.

Clear Scalp; Dry, Staticky Hair After using the Kamedis Dandruff Shampoo, I'm happy to have a clear scalp. The shampoo has an okay texture and seems to be scentless. I'm happy to introduce a twice-a-week shampoo into my routine to keep my scalp clear. However, using the Kamedis Dandruff Shampoo made my hair very dry and staticky after use, despite using hair oils to help.

Reduced dandruff right away! I struggle with dandruff especially in the winter. I first tried this shampoo during a particularly bad time with my dandruff and after one use I noticed a dramatic difference that only got better with time. I received this for free to test, but I’ll definitely continue using this!

Immediate results! It may be because I don't have severe dandruff, but I'm impressed as to how quickly it worked on my dandruff. Because I only get dandruff from time to time, I know this will last me a while and will come in handy whenever I need it (esp since it'll work right away!)

Decent recieved this product complimentary from Influenster for reciewing purposes. I have had psoriasis and dandruff on my scalp for most my life and haven't tried too much out for it besides Head n Shoulders. This product I felt was too drying for my scalp and it just didn't work as good for my scalp as Head n Shoulders. It is also on the pricey side in my opinion, but the ingredients are much cleaner and other people seem quite happy with their results!

Good even for sensitive skin I have extremely sensitive skin so sometimes it’s hard to find dandruff products that accommodate that. This one is perfect!! Doesn’t weigh my hair down like other shampoos have.
