We sent our eczema products out to Cortney Lynn from CompletelyMomBlog to try out and review. Below is her honest review that was posted on her site. You can find links to her site and social media here and at the end of this post.

As a first time mom, you are constantly learning new things. Ever since I had my daughter she has struggled with baby eczema and as she grew it never went away. To any of you who do not know what eczema is it's the name for a group of conditions that causes the skin to become red, itchy and inflamed. As a first time mom, I could never find a way to completely get rid of it. I tried multiple creams that never truly worked and I would occasionally give her oatmeal baths to help soothe the itch but her sensitive skin always seemed to be flaring up. Eczema often appears in the first six months to 5 years of a child’s life and we are still currently trying to find the best ways to treat her eczema flare ups. There is no cure for eczema but some of the most common triggers are dry skin, irritants, heat and sweating and allergens. I recently came across a company called Kamedis, a unique collection of skin treatment products. When connecting over my daughter eczema, they sent us their eczema therapy cream and wash! I am usually very weary about trying new products on her as we have tried so many in the past but knowing both of these products were free of steroids, fragrance, SLS, parabens and dyes, I was so excited to try them on my daughter to hopefully help calm her flare ups. I always try to introduce a new product slowly to see how her skin will react first, so we started off using their eczema therapy wash first. It is a rich, foaming gel that gently cleanses while calming and soothing dry skin. The Kamedis eczema body wash is formulated with carefully selected botanicals in accordance with the wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine and is safe to be used on babies, children and adults. I applied it to her current areas of irritation and slowly let the foaming cleanser sit on her skin for about three minutes. Here in Florida it can be so hot and humid that her flare ups mainly appear on her hands and knees the most when she is out in the heat for certain period of time. Then she will itch them and it makes the flare ups even worse. I then washed the cleanser off with luke warm water on a soft wash cloth and allowed her skin to air dry. (as drying with a towel may cause more of an irritation.) The following day, I introduced the eczema therapy cream, a rich body and face cream that nourishes and calms extremely dry, irritated and itchy skin, wrapping it in a protective layer that provides long-term relief. Clinically proven to reduce eczema flare ups by 50%! I used both items everyday for one week on her flare up areas and I was absolutely astound by the results. This is like pure liquid gold!! When I tell y'all that I have tried multiple creams throughout the last four years, I truly mean it and have never seen such fast relief. After each flare up, using both the wash and cream, the problem areas were mainly gone within 24 hours. They still come back on occasion but the relief my daughter had so quickly without continuing to itch the flare up areas, truly told me her skin was feeling some type of relief! To any other mamas out there or anybody who you may know that struggles with eczema, Kamedis has become apart of our daily routine and has worked wonders in such a small amount of time. Below I have linked both the wash and cream for y'all to check out! It’s important to understand if your child suffers with eczema and which type of eczema they may have. Also find their symptoms and triggers so that you can better treat and manage it as they grow and change.
